There was an interview by Obama's speech writer this weekend I saw where at one point they were polling that before Biden dropped out... But it was Trump polling close to 400 and there was no choice.

It's hard to discern the actual from the false narrative cause they're all throwing darts at each other.

Yeah, Liberty County, according to Fox News' election coverage, voted Trump over Harris 4 to 1. (Chambers County's percentage is actually higher than ours, but hey, we both live in heavily Republican counties in the Houston area, which is great.)

If I could give anyone advice, I would say, if Trump wins, be prepared for the worst of times from November 6th until January 21st. If you can't leave, be prepared to defend yourself, your family and your supplies from desperate people.

I'm pretty safe in my little town, although I have seen increasing numbers of democrats moving in near or around me. I do have to drive into Memphis at least 3 times a week, though. Any sniff of trouble and I load up a couple of extra fun sticks under my back seat and always keep something within arm's reach when possible. The home is fairly fortified, and I have an entire arse... well, just say I'm prepared.

Fortunately, Memphis is one of the few blue cities that doesn't seem to react to bad news like some other cities. It could be that people saw what can happen to their homes and businesses during the King riots after he was assassinated. Or it could be that white/black relations aren't as strained as in other cities, yet.

I pray that I never have to fire on another human being, but I am trained to do so if I have to. And I'm confident I won't hesitate if the situation calls for it. That situation is about life or death, as well as the health and safety of me and anyone around me. God help me if I do have to do something drastic. Seriously, I hope he keeps my aim straight and my back strong.

I aint getting any younger, and these last few years have been an obstacle to keeping my training and practice sessions up. I figure muscle memory can last a while, though.
