At this point, I don't think JMU is any better than UL, so I could see USM pulling the upset if our Running Game and D continue to play well, especially if we make it to OT. Granted, I picked JMU is the Pick'em, so that's not a prediction of victory. Just glad it's no longer an impossible dream.

I expect USM to have a let down after winning the game of the century at ULM on Sat. The quick turnaround doesn't help forget a major win like that. Because of that, I think JMU will win.

Random thought, but it had me thinking of altitude and home field advantage (better conditioning for home team of high altitude, worse for visitors). Tech had a lot of travel to higher altitude (ft) teams in WAC (Utah St and Nevada U 4.6K, Boise st and Idaho U 2.6K, 3.9K UTEP and NMSU). I was thinking JMU was in that range of decent elevation (only 1.3K), but it seems App has the only true elevation challenge (3.3K). Naturally, several of the lower elevation southern schools have higher humidity challenges too.
