The right has gone further right without noticing.

Notice that more and more people on MAGA villain lists are conservatives?

That’s why.

The left has gone so far left, they are right (Nazi, totalitarian, use 1984 as a guidebook).

So you have noticed how long the villain list is getting, how many more conservatives are on it every day.

You are just trying not to. Patch that awareness with a self-soothing story.

Don’t be in such a hurry to tell yourself stories. It’s OK to notice the obvious.

Notice how those “enemies” multiply.

Tucker Carlson. Mike Pence. The media. Europe. Canada.

So many villains. On every side.

Notice for a while.

Later—only when you feel ready—maybe get around to asking yourself who benefits from keeping you feeling besieged, and angry, and aggrieved, and scared.

You yourself may not want to see Trump supporter murdered en masses.

But, the rest of your left wing brethren do.

Hence the article.

I know you didn't read it. Not surprised.

Oh. Guilt by association.

Well, this is awkward. Apparently no one told you before now that “guilt by association” is a fallacy.

Fortunately, we can address that.

Bottom line is we, as American citizens, live in the greatest country the world has ever known. So yeah, we are not big fans of the freaks on the left trying to ruin that.

We can do without those, all that they accomplish is misery for everyone except the ruling class. I haven't seen any government official in any totalitarian regime suffer yet, it's always the dumb S O's who vote/fight them into office and then regret it...i.e., see Cuba, Venezuela, the USSR, etc.

Says the person who supports a party that's perfectly fine with abortion up to birth, mutilating children's sex organs, and allowing illegal aliens from the third world to waltz freely into the country.

I was driving to work on 9/11, way back when, when the Towers were attacked. I had to pull over on the side of the road, shaking with rage and grief. I came by these feelings honestly. My father was a war hero, I have his many medals. He was not a perfect man but he was a Patriot, and he taught me to be one too. There was no house he ever lived in that did not have an American Flag displayed prominently. RIP Chief.

Fast forward. I was driving to Memphis just the other day listening to the radio. Toby Keith came on, singing that song, you know the one, that goes "We'll put a boot in your ass, it's the American way", and I felt a tear roll down my cheek. I wondered why. I thought at first it was because I was a big Toby Keith fan, and he was taken from us way too soon. After I thought about it, I realized the tear wasn't so much about Toby being gone as it was the country he was singing about in that song may very well be gone.

There's a point, probably lost in this, and here it is.

If you don't love this country, why the fck don't you leave it? We will not miss you.

I'm somewhat older than you, I imagine (hell, I'm somewhat older than a lot of folks, lol), but I was raised the same.

A couple of weeks ago, I was driving toward Mount Rushmore, having never seen it before, when I turned a curve and saw it from a distance for the first time. Tears came to my eyes. Caught me totally by surprise.

I first didn't understand why, then realized it was caused by my love of this country.

I am not affiliated with either party and I don’t support any of the things you said.

You're a liar chickenhorse, and you know it.

You're just like Tom. You constantly sweep for the Democrat Party, and paint them in positive light while attacking and engaging in blatant character assassination against Trump and Republicans.

RE: What Do Americans Value Most? New Poll Exposes a Stunning Partisan Divide
American political independent Bill Faggart* ranks his top five for most important values (based on the survey) for our nation:

1. Patriotism (and specifically being humbled to live in the greatest country ever known to man)
2. Equality of opportunity (not "equal results")
3. Personal responsibility
4. Honesty/Consistency/Lack of Hypocrisy/Integrity/Respectfulness (these are related, so I put as one category)
5. Service

* Jack Lewis Faggart (July 20, 1928 to Aug. 20, 2008) was an American professional wrestler known as Sonny "Roughhouse" Fargo.

Many Dems these days champion "equal results," to the point of wanting to take wealth and businesses away from the rich.

Without putting in the requisite work that allowed many of the rich to become that way.

I would also point out, while in my opinion and granted I've never lived in another country, I agree that America is the greatest country ever known, that does not extend to our government. Maybe in the beginning it was the greatest government ever known, but what we have now is not where we started, or even very close.
