Anyone else remember when App would run the ball until it worked, and then keep running it with rotating RBs for the rest of the game?

6 total rushing yards last night, with only 6 total rushing attempts through RBs.

I'm not so sure it's play calling. The roster looks thin. Thinner than I've ever seen it by a good margin. CDL's had a season and a half and midway in the second he's competing top of the east with clearly less tallent. Granted the obvious but again it may not be play calling so much as lack of depth. JMO.

What I think is funny is with all the emphasis on hiring NFL guys or coaches from "bIG-tImE cOLLeGe fOOtball" the best coaches in the game were...Mike Mutz and DJ Smith.

I have no idea what Loggains was trying to do on offense. What were they doing to take the pressure off the QB?

If he's still here in '27 he needs to let someone else run the offense. Last night was embarrassing

App State was held to 6 yards rushing. Safe to say that Mike Mutz was one of the best SBC hires this offseason.

The coaches didn’t even try to run, such a stubborn gameplan. Similar to the ODU game it was frustrating.

What's sad is....he's probably a top 3 coach in the conference now. The guy that has to have his hand held to make a good DC hire and way too often shows up unprepared in road games...

The decline in the conference after 2024 has much more to do with stupid hires than NIL. I will not relent on that.

I think both fanbases can rally around wanting their coaches fired despite having winning records.
