Marquette beats Michigan State 86-79 at Fiserv Forum. Led all the way mostly in double digits. MU was 50% on 3s and outrebounded MSU by 10.

RE: Exhibition
The Jays have played and won 2 - at Iowa State and at home in 2 OT vs Minnesota. In each, the Jays played well in the 1st halves, lost the team focus and surrendered the lead, then reorganized to pull out the wins.
Still trying to clarify offensive and defensive strategies, but there will be a new look and attitude on defense with Huss.
I don't like to project exhibition results into the season. Last year we handled ISU in exhibition then were curb stomped by them in Vegas. I do like getting two wins with plenty of teachable moments with end of game challenges that they were able to handle from teams with two different styles of play on both sides of the ball.

Nice to see Michigan is 0-2 against the Big East in exhibition season
This feels like another one of those years where Marquette is off many people's radar entering the season but is top 10-15 after playing their first marquee game or two.
