Ukraine was always willing. That doesn't mean you lay all your cards on the table publicly. Its Russia who is the barrier.

I'm amazed how you people swallow Putin's propaganda hook line and sinker. You're as bad as the TDS people.

I disagree. It was the European NATO/Globalists that have been pushing this war. Once Trump made it clear we're America First, the globalists have doubled-down.

America is no longer their muscle. And they can't stand it.

RE: Sounds like the Ukraine war is about to be over
In reality, the breakup of the USSR was a great thing for Russia. Otherwise, it would rapidly be becoming a majority Muslim and Turkic country.

Russia's population has dropped from 149 million in 1990 to 144 million now and is projected to drop to 133 by 2050 and 112 by 2100.
For Ukraine, its 52-38-33-20. For Belarus its 10-9.5-8.4-6.5. So for the Slavic republics its 211 million to 192 now to 174 and 139 million by 2100.
And that is with millions of Russians leaving the Central Asian Republics and moving to Russia. And it includes a lot of Turkic Muslims within Russia.

The Baltics were always small, with 8 million in 1990, 5.8 million now, 4.8 projected for 2050 and 3.3 for 2100.

The other 3 Christian republics, Georgia, Armenia and Moldova, were 13.4 million down to 10 million now, 9 in 2050 and 6.5 in 2100.

The 6 Muslim, mostly Turkic republics were 58 million in 1990, 90 million now and 115 in 2050 and 136 million in 2100.

So by 2050, the Muslim republics would have nearly as many people as Russia itself.

This would be serious ballistic missile threat for which Russia currently has almost no ability to stop.

Neither the FP7 or upcoming FP9 have that sort of warhead capacity (a little less than half). But they do not use Starlink/Starshield, and inertial guidance without external signals can't be jammed (it also makes them less accurate, so civilians will die from their use; that's a feature for the Russians, but Ukraine's Euro backers will not like it). The Flamingo likewise does not need Elmo's service, but does receive guidance (and is also a zeppelin-sized target). The South African ketamine addict can't protect Russian targets from them.

Neither weapon is yet widely available, but apparently will be soon.

My understanding is the FP-9 supposedly will have an 800kg warhead, which is 1763 pounds. Of course---sources vary on this. My main point was---its going to be a warhead more similar to the Flamingo as opposed to the much smaller warheads found on the various propeller driven drone variants currently hitting Russia (those warheads are generally roughly somewhere between 100 to 250 pounds). A hit from an FP-9 is going to cause some pretty significant damage---and unlike the propeller driven drones----I dont think the Russians are going to be able to do much to intercept ballistic missiles.

I guess Russia didn’t get the memo.

Business as usual in Moscow bomb Ukraine.

I stand by what I stated earlier IF ANYONE IN THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION IS READING

RUSSIA WILL STOP WHEN THEY ARE MADE TO STOP.

No amount of yap is going to change that.

Wyckoff is making a full of himself telling The butcher Putin he is a humanitarian. Just sad

Another epic, and expensive regime change failure.

We won’t stop till the credit cards start getting declined.

Russia is just waiting for us to hit our credit limit, which is inching closer every day.

Remember when we were crowing how #WeCrateredRussiasEconomy?

4 years of taking victory laps, and trying to sell the American people on how important Ukraine is up in smoke, just like most of our regime change flops.

And NATO is weaker, more fractured, broker, and less equipped than when it all began.

And when we abandon Ukraine, everyone will see how the US flaked out yet again. Good thing trust and credibility aren’t important…

Who is going to want to fight our next war for us?

I called it a quagmire the first day Biden* told Russia they could go in. It was completely predictable. Russia's logistical support sucks balls.

It happened in Afghanistan. Russia was using their superior air power. Then the US gave the rebels some stinger missiles, russian jets got shot down, Russia could no longer use air superiority so their logistics chain halted and then quagmire.

In this war, Trump I gave Ukraine Javelin missiles, which were highly effective against tanks and helicopters. The US then showed some Ukranian rednecks how to scratch build a couple of Neptune missiles, and the Mosqva got sank to the bottom of the sea and all other ships had to retreat. And then, quagmire.

Very predictable.

it was to the tune of, 'if'n they only take a little' ... there was never a doubt after that...

It wasn't Trump who gave permission for Russia to start the war, so how can he be accused of "flaking out"? ....and we sure aren't going in to fight it either, so whose war is it?

The war is Ukraines war. We couped them, tried to sneak them into NATO, they got into a civil war when eastern parts wanted out, we kept supplying weapons for Ukraine to kill its Russian half, kept ignoring Russias warnings, so Russia got involved.

Now nobody in the West wants to pay for it any more or supply weapons because we don’t have the money or backend to fight a war that size. Now Ukraine knows it’s been had, and the world knows our trillion dollar military echos like a hollow barrel when challenged in any meaningful way.

During the Ukraine fiasco we let a dozen bases in the Middle East get wiped out because we couldn’t defend them and sent the soldiers to hide elsewhere. And we stopped bombing Iran because we don’t have the weapons to do the job.

Since you asked nicely…

I’m still waiting for the media to admit that we didn’t crater Russias economy like we claimed, that they can and do still produce weapons, that Russia is only selling one fifth the gas to Europe that they were before, but at five times the price, that the toughest sanctions we could dole out to Russia were more of an inconvenience than an effective hindrance, and the story that Russia was buying up all the worlds dishwashers to get a $2 chip out of them was as stupid sounding today as it was then.

Until we are honest about things like that, I’m not going to believe much of the spin about how one day Russia just decided it wanted Ukraine and attacked unprovoked and out of nowhere.

This trillion dollar disaster, like most, transcends the ineptitude of only one administration or one party.

lol---its day 1700 of Russia's 10 day bltiz to conquer Urkraine. FACT---Russia occupied substantially more of Urkraine on day 30 of the war than they do today. Even worse, September marked an increasingly common occurrence as it was yet another month where Russia actually LOST more ground in Ukraine than they gained. The highest casualty day of the war for Russia was two days ago. Russia is now losing more men per month than they recruit. Refineries and air bases thousands of miles behind the front are blowing up in Russia---something nobody ever would have believed possible in 2022 when the war kicked off. But all is on schedule and going according to the plan per Putin. lol---yeah---I bet. Bottom lne---Ukraine is absolutely taking a pounding, but the longer the war continues---the more equally the effects are being felt by BOTH nations. Both sides are hard headed---but its time for both to realize its a stalemate neither can win. Its time to freeze the lines in place and do a land for security peace treaty.
