We also have rules against spamming the report feature.

The thread is his thread. If none of you replied to it then it would have been closed for him constantly adding to it to keep it alive. BUT YOU DID REPLY TO IT LIKE ROGER RABBIT TO THE KNOCK OF SHAVE AND A HAIRCUT BY JUMPING OUT TO SCREAM TWO BITS!

This is the type of crap that keeps you from having moderation. You get a stupid thread that nobody should respond to, then you spam the report feature having made replies in a thread that keep the thread alive and then you gripe about the subsequent posts of the OP.

If you see a troll thread ignore it. Then if the OP keeps it alive by bumping it the thread may be closed and the OP warned.

I'm well within my rights, as would any moderator, to hammer you all with warnings for griping about this in an open post instead of sending the Private Message that you are required by AUP to send.

When I was 4 years old, at the age where I was still learning new words at a pretty brisk clip, my grandma took me to a 1980 Reagan campaign rally somewhere in Cincinnati. People were holding up signs that said Reagan Bush, and I concluded that Bush must have been an old timey use of the word when it was an exclamation, like go or hurray.
