RE: UAC FOOTBALL: WEEK 4
Gotta hand it to ACU for playing one helluva an ooc schedule this year. #11 Texas Tech, two current/preseason Top 25 and FCS playoff schools, plus a scrappy Idaho Vandal squad up in the Kibbie Dome. Likely the most battle tested team heading into conference play.

RE: UAC FOOTBALL: WEEK 4
Bye week could not come at a better time for Tarleton. Alot to fix and focus on, especially fundamental blocking and tackling. Easy to see Whitten is no longer calling the plays and offense is still moving the ball while increasing time of possession. Coaches also need to look at themselves in the mirror. Nix is asleep at the wheel, and it's starting to rub off on his players. 33 is a baller, though.

RE: UAC FOOTBALL: WEEK 4
Some have said that ACU is at -2.0, Massey has ACU at 67% probability. Others have Mercer at 63% probability. Mercer looks better on paper right now. Normally, ACU is better at home, but SFA stopped that. Now, SFA is truly on fire this year and really seems built better than last year. The question is has ACU really learned its lessons and turned the corner? We will see. Our defense HAS to tighten up, that's for sure. Hopefully our offense wasn't a fluke.

RE: UAC FOOTBALL: WEEK 4
UNA escapes with a 23-20 win today. The ending was wild.
UNA offense sputtered all game but then drive down the field with less than 2 mins left and score on a goal line tush push. WIU has a good kickoff return after a penalty and a couple plays later was on the 1 yard line with about 10 seconds left with no timeouts. They botched the snap and time expired. Wowza!
APSU handled UT Martin easily.

ACU pretty much has to run the table to make the playoffs now. That would be a tall order. I think Tarleton and APSU are going to be the only UAC representitives in the pplayoffs. UWF would probably make it if they were eligible.

That had already started with Mercer. It isn't going to happen with what I see out of them. Even the win over Idaho was not a good win. They have not been the same team all year. Yes, I see similar scheme errors, based on the same coaches but I also see us making additional errors. We really are that bad.
