Chicago State Football.
This is the first year Chicago State University has football. Ever. They will be in the NEC next year but will be an independent this year.

They were blown out playing in a soccer stadium off campus to Division 2 Roosevelt U Chicago but led 7-3 at one point. Still, you don’t win with 3 giveaways.

We shall see how they do. It wasn’t a massive crowd, but a lot of alumni came out and there was tailgating. Nice vibe. They were supportive.
