Time Magazine Enters the College Rankings Game
The US News and World Report College Rankings are famous on CSNBBS and an annual discussion topic.

Time Magazine has entered the race.

There are a few lesser known schools outside the usual suspects due to a different ranking methodology.

Stanford tops the list followed by MIT. 3rd is Harvey Mudd College, a school unlikely to have been mentioned on CSNBBS since I've been here. Princeton at 4th is the top Ivy and Michigan is 5th. Penn, Columbia, and Harvard also made the top 10 among Ivy League schools with Yale ranking 11th. Among FBS schools, Virginia is 14th, Berkeley is 15th, Florida 16th, North Carolina 18th, and Notre Dame 19th. Other schools I don't believe are in the US News & World Report in addition to Harvey Mudd are Claremont McKenna and Babson. My Illinois is #50. Penn State's not listed.
