On Tuesday, former Republican California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and former U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris called on citizens and countries to work together to find solutions to pollution and climate change despite environmental policy rollbacks by U.S. President Donald Trump.

“This is an issue that should be considered nonpartisan,” Harris said at the Austrian World Summit (AWS), the environmental conference that Schwarzenegger has organized in Vienna for the past 10 years.

“Unlike other politicians who spend their time simply attacking the opposition… we do not let that stop us from working together,” said Schwarzenegger, who has sharply criticized Trump’s positions and voted for Harris in the last election.

The former California governor recalled that climate policies do not depend solely on what the Trump administration does because subnational governments and other countries continue to do a great deal to solve these problems.

Schwarzenegger listed some achievements reached in 2025, including a 700-gigawatt increase in global renewable energy production and the avoidance of 3 billion metric tons of CO2 emissions through clean energy sources. “The power to reduce pollution resides at the state and local level. We all know that.”

Harris said that the climate crisis debate should appeal to citizens as consumers and convey the message that using renewable energy is not only the right thing to do but is also cheaper. In that regard, she also advocated tax incentives for both users and developers of these technologies.

Drawing on her experience as a prosecutor, Harris also called for policies requiring polluting companies to pay the consequences of their actions.

She believes that that citizens feel that, once Trump’s term ends, there will be opportunities to do things better. Nevertheless, she acknowledged that in order to address public distrust of governments, leaders must consider whether people’s basic needs are being met in real time.

Most Democrats are not impressed with her, either. Remember that she face-planted in the 2020 primary season and had to drop out before any votes were cast.

Democrats rallied around her in July 2024 out of desperation after Biden’s campaign disintegrated during a debate, because she was the incumbent VP and there was no time to schedule new primaries or anything like that. But I doubt she would have or could have gained the nomination in an open primary campaign.

If you ignore all of that, Harris is not a hypocrite.

(Not to mention, RedState Managing Editor Jennifer Van Laar has been doing yeoman's work for years in exposing Newsom and his wife's extensive and legitimate history of corruption.)

Let's now transition into Part 2 of Kamala's projection parade. The following gem of a comment to the moderator:

Botched the Afghanistan withdrawal, abandoning allies and getting 13 U.S. troops killed.

Implemented devastating open borders policies, causing record illegal crossings and a surge in fentanyl deaths.

Introduced skyrocketing inflation that irreparably eroded savings and hurt working families the hardest.

Allowed Hunter Biden and other members of the Biden family to profit from shady foreign influence deals.

Killed the Keystone pipeline and left America begging OPEC for oil.

Implemented COVID mandates and forced vaccines while ignoring natural immunity.

Mishandled classified documents, including some found in the former president's garage.

Watched in incompetent awe as a Chinese spy balloon flew over the U.S. unchecked.

Parroted defund the police rhetoric that fueled a record national crime surge.

Ignored veterans and left many struggling with VA failures.

Aside from all of that (and believe me, this is a short list), the Biden-Harris administration was totally competent.

Perhaps this is more than a simple projection. Harris just delivered a masterclass in self-owning delusion. The very administration she helped lead serves as the gold standard for callous, corrupt, and incompetent governance, yet she lectures the world from a foreign stage as if her and Biden's record never happened.

Americans remember. And Kamala, hate to dash your future aspirations and all, they're going to remember again in 2028. You think we just fell out of a coconut tree?

She was a DEI hire for Biden admin. Nothing more, nothing less. They never thought that would blow up in their faces once the senile old codger got his ass handed to him by Trump. Backed them into a corner - install her without primaries making a total joke of their “saving democracy” BS or have her lose in some primary and piss off the identity politic fools that are the vast majority of stupid Dem base.

The Democrat Party has a list of problems a mile long. One of the biggest problems is what to do with Kamala Harris.

92% of Black Women voted Democrat in 2024. 86% of Blacks in general voted for Kamala.

If Kamala wants to run they better not screw her over. I can tell you if Kamala isn’t the nominee I will tell everyone I know that Democrats screwed over Kamala again.
