Unfortunately I live about 3 miles from AT&T and I work about 1 mile from there, so traffic is going to be a big problem for me.

Only on game days.

Fair Park has the fan fest and is open daily during the World Cup. Dos Equis seems like a good place to watch a match.

USA defeated Paraguay tonight 4-1.

Side note, I ordered a Haiti jersey several days ago and now the jersey has been declared as political incorrect and therefore cannot be worn by the team. It will be interesting to see if I get the politically incorrect jersey I purchased or if I get the modified version.

You know, I never really liked soccer or foreign football, but watching a few games is changing my opinion, soccer is a very good sport. The first USA game versus Paraguay was exciting and enjoyable to watch. I hope Team USA competes well throughout the games.

One interesting thing about the USA's first game was how great it felt for our country to be unified behind one team. We were finally one country again. Pretty cool.

the patriotism and excitement of the fans is cool to see but I just cant watch soccer. it still resembles a herd of cats to me and the level of bilking the fans of their money kinda turns me off to the whole thing.

RE: World Cup 2026
It’s fun to see the visitors from other countries loving their time in the US. The internet hates America. From within and without, but that is not the reality. I got to take it all in this weekend in Arlington. The Dutch and Japanese were delightful to hang out with. And they were having a blast here!!!

FC Dallas’ own Petar Musa scores a goal for Croatia in Dallas Stadium (normally known as AT$T Stadium).

What a moment for him and us FC Dallas fans.

After one of USA's wins, I played the theme from Team America World Police. My two-year old kept repeating the chorus...04-jawdrop

The wife was not happy with me. 01-lauramac2

RE: World Cup 2026
Well the World Cup is finished and Spain are the champions!!! Congrats to the Spaniards who are the First Nation to win both the men’s and women’s World Cup at the same time.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this years cup and matches. Without question it was a tremendous success with sold out stadiums and fans from all nations having a great experience. Local businesses had tremendous success and profits. Can’t wait for the 2030 in Spain, Portugal, and Morocco.

Fans from around the world loved Canada, Mexico and the USA as the host nations. The grass pitches at the indoor stadiums were just about perfect. It will be fascinating to see which stadiums get the future American World Cup matches based on the rave reviews of the indoor facilities, and yes the USA will host future World Cups. Cape Verde represented themselves and all other small countries with pride and honor.

I am going to have World Cup withdrawals for the next four years.

And for those of you waiting on pins and needles about my Haitian football jersey, please note I received the one which was band and not allowed during the competition. In fact I am wearing now as I make this post as I wore it for today’s final match.

Go USA and every other nation in this and future World Cups. And to the players and teams, thank you for allowing me to watch and witness your performances. You were awesome!!!
