Solo Ball will miss the 2026-27 season
Solo Ball played most of this past season with a wrist injury, sustained in December. He will undergo surgery to correct the problem and will miss all of next season. He plans to return to UConn for the 2027-28 season after a medical redshirt year.

It's a big loss but I'm confident we will find another ball handler/ shooter in the portal. Mullins slides to a more natural position at the 2 and Ross starts the year as the starting 3. Don't be surprised if Landrew is starting by Big East play though
