31 points and 27 rebounds to save an injured UConn from an embarrassing first round upset. Absolutely monster game. Thanks to the grizzly bear for keeping the season alive.

Need Demary back but if Reed can stay locked in and we don't shoot like garbage again this team has a chance

First player to put up a line of 30+ points and 25+ in the tournament since 1968! Historic! Only 2 others have done it in the tournament Evers - Hall of Famers Elvin Hayes and Jerry Lucas. Awesome night for the big fella. Smartest thing he ever did was to leave Michigan for Connecticut.

Completely agree with the bolded. Hurley has helped him find his inner monster.

I knew he was locked in just by the look on his face from the start of the game. He knew nobody they had good remotely match him physically, despite them starting 2 guys who are 6'11. He just dominated from start to finish.

Side note: I know Wilkins will probably get big time offers to go start somewhere else next year, but if we can bring the MA native here to backup Demary we will have a loaded backcourt again next year. That dude has "onions" as they like to say. Singlehandedly kept them in it in the first half.
