The Breakup of Canada
Bloc Quebecois has won in Quebec and promised an independence referendum immediately after forming government. That is now three provinces actively trying to secede from Canada. Two of them fit in beautifully as US states (Alberta, Saskatchewan). Alberta secession is on the ballot already for November.

Carney should be a man with his hair on fire. I think he is instead a man of unmatched hubris who presumes it will all fail and he just keep pumping his domestic numbers with the arms up routine while positioning his businesses to profit MASSIVELY from .ca.gov policy.

Oh, the crops that Saskatchewan would provide and the oil that Alberta would provide would be amazing. Not sure how "conservative" Canook provinces translate politically in US terms, but Alberta is like Scotland, tired of having its wealth transferred to other parts of those countries.

Alberta also has some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world.

Canada is great! All it needs is someone to kick Trudeau's butt back to his Daddy's Cuba and some high-level scrutiny on the Chinese population living mostly in the Western Provinces. Take it all, take Cuba, buy Greenland, and start locating jobs formerly located in China, Indonesia, etc., in Mexico and Central America to raise the standards of living there. We should control everything from the frozen North to the Panama Canal, Cuba and Caribbean. That is now essential territory to control for defense, along of course with space.

When that is secure the development of South America should be the next priority.

After the winter we had this year I cannot imagine living in Canada. Snow is nice but ice and snow and salt on the roads gets old fast.

Agreed but I could spend some time there in the summers when it's bearable.
