ok, so I have found the original subpoena. Basically Fulton county records keeper said DOJ could not have those records because they were under seal. DOJ went back to court and they were ordered handed over, and being under seal did not matter. Fulton county records keeper then said they couldnt be handed over without a court order. This was in Novemeber. DOJ responded with a court order and that all documents/ballots be handed over within 5 days. Fulton County records keeper failed to respond. So they went in with a warrant and took them.

The DOJ is doing this under the laws which require certain records to be maintained and kept. Fulton County elections commission requested the help of the DOJ when the same records keeper prevented them from gaining access to the records under transparency to ensure the laws were followed.
