RE: Psychotherapists are now seeing the effects of TDS in their patients
Quote:Is “Trump derangement syndrome” real? No serious mental-health professional would render such a partisan and derogatory diagnosis. Yet I’ve seen it in my own psychotherapy practice. Patients across the political spectrum have brought Donald Trump into therapy not to discuss policy but to process obsession, rage and dread. Their distress is symptomatic, not ideological.
Way to spin an opinion piece. The rest is behind a paywall.

So your moral compass is ok you to stealing other people’s work? Not surprising since yet again all you did was evade the point I made and provided no counterpoint. Bravo!

Point proven. Thanks. It’s all you got.
In fairness, having retarded horse is quite a lot to have.

Way to stupidly and ignorantly discount a far more informed opinion than your own.

I did not discount the doctor’s expertise but instead other’s interpretation of it. I pointed out his informed opinion stated patients from across the political spectrum were bringing Trump into therapy. Research does suggested that D are more likely to seek therapy. So while many here would immediately jump to the conclusion that Ds are mentally unwell the vast majority of research does not. Because the field sees mental wellness just as important as physical wellness. Research does tend to show that conservatives are more likely to have unmet mental wellness needs. So in the end the Doctor’s opinion is interesting, and more than likely correct, it still needs a follow up controlled, peer reviewed study before you can really make a truly informed opinion.

There is a simple cure, lots of middle-class people have tried it successfully going as far back as the 1960s. It basically boils down to … GTFO out of New York City.
But seriously, the kinds of billionaires who plan to continue living in NYC are probably supportive of Mamdani-style politics, or at least neutral.
