Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Reportedly Busted by Prison Guards for Drinking Alcohol at FCI For
Quote:Is Diddy boozing at Dix?
When Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ lawyers asked for the disgraced rap mogul to serve his prison time in low-security FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey, the stated reasons were that it would be closer for family to visit, and also because the federal lockup has substance abuse programs that – if successfully completed – could shave almost a year out of his sentence.
However, news arose yesterday that Diddy may be slipping into old habits, getting busted by prison officials for drinking alcohol behind bars.
TMZ reported:
“Sources with knowledge tell TMZ Diddy had some homemade alcohol in Fort Dix, the low-security prison where he’s doing time. We’re told the alcohol is made of Fanta, sugar and apples, which inmates give two weeks to ferment into an alcoholic substance.
We’re told Diddy got caught by jail officials and prison officials planned to move him from his old unit into a new one. Two sources tell TMZ prison officials have now reversed their decision and Diddy will stay put.”
Diddy’s defense repeatedly mentioned his newfound sobriety, saying that substance abuse made him behave in an unacceptable way.
“He wrote in a letter to the Judge, ‘The old me died in jail and a new version of me was reborn. Prison will change you or kill you — I choose to live’.”
After the rapper left the infamous Brooklyn MDC prison where he spent over a year, he was pictured comfortably chatting with fellow inmates at Fort Dix.
Spokesman for the Combs family:
“Mr. Combs is in his first week at FCI Fort Dix and is focused on adjusting, working on himself, and doing better each day. As with any high-profile individual in a new environment, there will be many rumors and exaggerated stories throughout his time there—most of them untrue. We ask that people give him the benefit of the doubt, the privacy to focus on his personal growth with grace and purpose.”

After Reports of ‘Moonshine Drinking’ Incident, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Now Faces Discipline in FCI Fort Dix For Illegal Three-Way Phone Call
Quote:Diddy may lose phone privileges for 90 days.
When convicted rap mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was transferred from the infamous Brooklyn MDC to minimum security FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey, many predicted that he’d had a smooth ride, there – but so far, it’s looking more like a rocky road.
Last Friday (7), reports circulated that Diddy was caught drinking ‘moonshine’ alcohol – something that would undercut his efforts to cut a year of his sentence upon successful completion of a residential drug treatment program.
And yesterday, a new report arose saying Diddy, who reportedly now has a job as a chaplain’s assistant, faces potential discipline ‘for making a three-way phone call’ that violated prison rules.
CBS News reported:
“The Bureau of Prisons prohibits inmates from adding multiple people to a call, and inmates can only speak to people on prison phones from previously approved call lists, under longstanding security rules.
According to the documents, he called an unnamed woman, and about halfway through their call, Combs said he needed to talk with someone described as ‘the digital person’ regarding blogs. The woman asked Combs if she should add that person to the call and he said ‘yes’. Combs first spoke briefly with the woman about arranging visitors for the weekend and suggested they bring cash — ‘200 singles’. There is no indication as to how he intended to use the money. Prison regulations bar visitors from bringing in currency other than coins for the vending machines.
After they finished speaking about visitation, the woman added an unknown male to the call — circumventing prison rules.”
Combs argued that he was speaking with his attorney and she added the head of legal communications to work on a statement to the press.
“Multi-person calls are banned in prisons because of concerns that inmates could use them to coordinate criminal activity, such as drug smuggling, gang violence or witness intimidation. However, such calls can also be used for more innocent purposes, such as talking to two loved ones at the same time.”
As a result, prison officials are recommending that Diddy lose 90 days of phone privileges and 90 days of commissary privileges for the infraction. It’s unclear if the recommended penalty has been implemented.
“’This is a serious offense that shows a disregard for the rules’, a source close to the investigation said.“
