"I shot at it and it just stood there, and I shot again, and he backed up and that's when he fell."

Really starting to like Mississippi.

Reminds me of an old friend that had a full sized hunting poodle that tree'd a south american monkey in the Hatchie bottoms years ago, but i digress...

Reminds me of that woman from around Memphis who had a pet chimpanzee. Apparently she pissed him off because he mutilated her and chewed her face off.

I used to deer hunt the lower Hatchie national wildlife refuge way back when I didn't mind hiking into deep woods. Some big un's in there.

My second favorite dog ever was a full sized Standard poodle, weighed over 60 pounds. He was a gentle soul, unless another dog took a step toward me, lol.

Then he would act very un-poodle like.

Little known fact: poodles were hunting dogs before democrat filth started having them

Read it on the interwebs.

They were also rejected as candidates for K9 squads because when ordered to attack, they always went for the throat. Or so I've heard.

My daughter bought a Miniature labradoodle puppy earlier this year and my SIL is a big dove hunter from East Central AL. He is training her already. Very smart dog and loves to fetch. He will have a dove hunting buddy for years to come.

A chick i know has one. Smart but frickin hyper. They seem to be hard to train. Idk. Prob mimmicks the owner

My former wife had one, and I hated that dog. She was as neurotic as her owner.

Believe it or not full size Poodles make good duck hunting dogs if they are not pampered or gun shy

Not surprising to me. Having had one for 8 years, Standard poodles have much more in common with large hunting dogs than they do with their midget cousins.
