Disney vs YouTube TV - Consumer gets hosed again
You probably heard that YouTube TV lost access to Disney programming…including ABC and ESPN channels. I have YouTube TV. If I was big into college sports I’d be crying. Fortunately, I learned that college sports much more morally bankrupt than professional sports, so I’m not crying over it.

Google vs Disney. LOL, like rooting for the tallest midget. However, i think Disney is the more evil one here. It’s about squashing consumer choice by trying to force everyone to their platforms…screw the rest of us. NFW am I paying top dollar for access to Disney content. ESPN blows. They FUBAR’d Star Wars and Marvel. Wasn’t huge fans of these products but I see the damage done to them.

Disney is full of Fascists. Another example of capitalism hurtling towards fascism through unchecked corporate takeovers of our economic agency.

I'm subscribing right now but I'm thinking of just unsubscribing. The day will come when I won't give a Schiff. If my college president doesn't give a Schiff I and many more fans will not either. Screw them.

Same goes for pro football, if I have to pay to see their games they'll have one less viewer.

Streaming has not been kind for sports fans.

& now the leagues split their contracts between 4 or 5 different platforms thruout the season too. It's getting to the point where if a league leaves the platforms you have, you move on & watch whatever else is on..........(Like old cable tv I thought we were leaving behind..........)

I have ESPN+ & YTTV & that allows access to so much if you're a sports fan. Losing the ESPNs & ABC hurts. Not sure what the best option would be then. I hope they get it worked out & think they will

It is disturbing that you can have a subscription to ESPN and still lose the games on the public network.

Public network? ABC? I get it with the ESPN streaming service.

Regarding ABC, I think Disney would simply argue that it's always available OTA...just get your antenna to receive those signals active.

I just validated on my ESPN Unlimited + Fox One bundle, ABC games show up as ESPN on ABC. Definitely included.

Have had YouTube TV since it was available

I honestly watch less than an hour or two a week of live TV any longer. Was about to cancel it anyway.

I dont watch college or pro sports any longer. Its all been ruined.

You're one person, but there are others who would rather go back to cable than put notwithstanding streaming, and the rising monthly prices, and the content removal without warning.

Cable TV won't make a direct comeback, but it will still exist. The idea that cable TV will disappear completely is asinine.

The only time I watch TV is if it's on YouTube for free, but with ads.

My wife does streaming though.

I agree on college and pro sports being ruined. Corporate greed has taken over those mediums.

I just use my dad's spectrum TV subscription that comes w/ his apartment. He doesn't have to worry about paying for it but I set up the account and use the Spectrum TV app at our house. 03-lmfao
