Obamacare is the reason Part B is going up. When government pays for things for people the price of those things increase. See College tuition.

Health care is a thorny issue with no easy solution, but Obama Care is not the answer.

you do realize it was designed to fail so single payer would become the eventual ‘solution’, Ja?!

Yep. Knew that all the way back in '09, when it was proposed by a Democrat Party that controlled both houses of Congress and the Presidency.

So whats the Dem gameplan here on SNAP?

My thought is they are expecting a judge to enter a TRO and force the release of payments to cover November

That buys them more time

No way they go a whole month with no foodstamps...riots would occur

if it doesn’t end by tomorrow or the TRO, a run on urban center grocers is a given … the irony is the donks are fk’n their base … the pubs are gonna kick back and watch like the rest of us…

donks = terrorists … never negotiate with a terrorist…

I can’t wait to watch the fail happen…

Ima guess some of these upstanding citizens are looking forward to resume “shopping without money” and are actually looking forward to it.

If this hasn’t been resolved by Friday night, they’re gonna go help themselves.

I bet there are “chats” going on about this right now, some may go do it regardless of the SNAP situation.

Can you really eat a flat screen?!?

Asking for a friend.

But I still assign blame to the incoming 2016 Republican Senate and House majorities. They campaigned on "Repeal and Replace", but the knew Trump would never win and Hillary would never sign into law, so they didn't even have to have a plan. Empty promises, lies, in order to get elected.

Worthless scum.

And the reason I voted for Trump to drain the swamp.

I'm sure that I could locate hundreds of posts in which numerous individuals here expressed the same sentiment, even as it was occurring, if I weren't too lazy to conduct a search. Can you believe that it's been 15 and a half years since that piece of crap legislation was forced on us? That was the moment when my suspicions were confirmed: that Obama was a Marxist who had been schooled at the knees of Frank Marshall Davis, a well-known communist who Obama regarded as a "father figure" and "important influence" on him. Obama was later mentored by the likes of William Ayers and Tom Hayden. Obama's political aspirations were kick-started by good old Bill Ayers in his living room while hosting a fundraiser for the future senator. Obama's sole prior employment was as a community activist.

Yea. We are to believe as Obama worshippers do, that Barack is the only non-Muslin and/or Communist in his family. His mom married and had children with TWO Muslims and he was raised by his Communist Grandparents and Mother. ALL of his siblings are Muslim, but somehow he isn't. He gave it away when he bowed to the Saudi King but NOT to Queen Elizabeth. Any Hindu from India will tell you that PROVES he is a Muslim.

I’m not sure a TRO would work here, because a judge would be seeking to force Trump (or other official) to do something, and a TRO is typically to prevent Trump (or other official) from doing something. I’m sure judges can get very creative, but it would be very tricky to do a TRO that way. But we’ll see.

For now, I think the Democrats’ essential game-plan to maximize the chaos and pain for as many people as possible, to blame it all on Trump, and rely on the media to amplify that message and hope that the polls will turn against him. That is the same basic approach they have used in all “shutdowns” going back to Clinton/Gingrich 30 years ago, and the honest truth is, that strategy has worked almost all of the time.

And maybe it will work again now. But somehow, this time feels different.

I'm thinking it will be like with the Planned Parenthood lawsuit where the judge attempts to prevent Trump from withholding funds

To me it is different because the Republicans want to continue business as usual while the Dem’s wage war against hungry children.

Remember when Pelosi, on Christmas Eve, called Obamacare a "gift" to the American people?

I remember.
