Yep. Gutfeld essentially said that Monday night, and added that the downfall of the Dem party has also been aided by the widespread availability of Google search.

The people on the Left in this country are miserable people. Plain and simple. We see it every day on this site on full display. They don't want to know the truth, because it somehow makes them feel like they are more responsible for their lot in life.

How did we ever get to this point? Is it so important to Dems to be in power that they want to take down and/or arrest as much of the political opposition as possible?

This is def not the country I grew up in.

News media and to a lesser extent social media were able to control the flow of information well enough to shape some entrenched perceptions and viewpoints. The issue is the web is too large to control information flow. Plus Musk purchasing Twitter accelerated the movement towards freer information flow without it being sanitized.

I'd argue our country routinely suppressed the free flow of information...we were blind to it and naively assumed our media did not conform to government requests to suppress news.
