What's hypocritical is to go after posters for "whataboutism" and then do that very thing. Repeatedly.
What would you expect from someone like Tom who claims to be an independent and not affiliated with the Democrat Party?
Serious question, Andy...you do know I've never claimed to be an independent, right?
And no, I'm not affiliated with any party. I don't even live in a state where you have to declare a party. And the last time I did, I registered as a Republican so I could vote against Shrub in a primary.
People have quoted you Tom with you saying that you're independent. So yeah, it's out there.
No, they really haven't. When I talk about this, I try to clearly explain that I'm an Independent Voter. That's NOT an independent. It just means I don't belong to a party and further, I don't vote strictly on party lines.
Here's a chance for you to show your critical thinking chops.
1. Do I really support many independent positions?
2. Am I not a liberal? I clearly state that I am, and do it pretty regularly. And being a liberal, doesn't it stand to reason that I would
mostly support democratic positions and politicians since they
mostly are liberal?
3. In posts where I
may have called myself an independent, did you read the comments...in context...and in relation to whom I was replying to? If so, you'd quickly see the sarcasm or trolling.
But yes, one time like 10 years ago I had a post where I incorrectly called my self an Independent while trying to explain how I vote. But if you find and read that post, you should easily see that I was merely describing myself as an Independent Voter...and at the time, I just wasn't actually familiar that it was an actual term for what I am.

Finally, no, I'm not an Independent. So even if you feel I called myself one...or was one...in the past, I'm not now! Capiche?
