how is it a bribe when there's no guarantee of ROI and to a theoretical ally ... just more conjecture on the part of the Times and others...

Quote:The Times report did not directly link the two deals, but cast suspicion on the timing. Ryan Cummings, chief of staff at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy, said, “If this is true, this is the largest public corruption scandal in the history of the United States and it’s not even close.”

since you brought up 'deals', how about hill-lair-liar's uranium deal made with Iran ... explain that one away, ballgurgles ... 'they' will tell you it was designed to limit their capacity to manufacture nukes ... how'd that one play out with those ragheads that are certainly the enemy of every enama, eh?

the clintons are very corrupt and thats why I didn't vote for her in 2016.

See how easy it is? No Kings.

yet, based on your sample size, ewe still support the left's agenda ... just like commie tommie isn't a donk ... lyin' on a bbs is easy ... it's a given ewe didn't vote for #henceDJT ... maybe you voted for the goat ewe were doinkin'...

Well yeah I support things like decreasing the financial inequality in America, raising taxes on the ultra rich and increasing the social safety net. Donald Trump is against all those things so of course I’m not going to support it.

I could find some common ground on border control/security if he didn’t have ice masked up goons like criminals arresting people dropping their kids off and actively fighting fires.

Giving people already here a path to citizenship and tightening border control and limiting immigration (even white South Africans) would get more broad support

Yeah well we don't want any of those things to change from the way they are now being handled and the prospects of the dems having the ability to change Trumps agenda any time in the next 12 years or so are looking dimmer by the day.

That list reads like some kid who hasn't yet turned loose of the youthful idealism of an 18 year old. If you're much older than that and still believe that pie in the sky nonsense then you're just a mindless drone not worth engaging.

As you mentioned his stance on illegals, that's the giant disqualifier to me, his ridiculous idea of "Giving people already here a path to citizenship."

They always want other peoples money. I think there is one of the Ten Commandments that pertains to that personal failing.

How much of rich people’s money is enough?

How much of their money do you give to those that refuse to work?

How far do you chase said rich people when they leave?

And a really good question is when these rich people don’t have enough to fund the democrat party is that the bridge too far?

RE: Tom Homan takes $50,000 bag of cash, apparently with no strings attached
I once read somewhere (and posted here) that if the leftists used the IRS to confiscate every last cent from the wealthiest 100 people in this country, we'd fund the federal government for maybe a year, tops. And then, I'm sure the left wouldn't stop at them.

The point is, like you said, WSME, it's never enough for them.

Oh, and that Commandment is Thou Shalt Not Steal. (There's another that comes to mind. Thou Shalt Not Covet. Something else the left -- nay, humanity -- does, when we shouldn't, myself included.)

They had no evidence he provided the contracts he took the cash for, which is now what it takes to prove federal bribery. Until he actually did the action he was paid for it wasn't a crime. In his "denial" on Fox News he didn't even say he didn't take the cash, he just said he committed no crime, because just taking the cash is not a crime. He said a whole bunch of word salad in which at no point in time did he say he didn't take the cash. If I didn't take cash I was accused of taking I'd lead with that part.

If he took the cash, there was an agreement to do an illegal act, and an action in furtherance of that illegal act. Conspiracy and attempt apply.

If he didnt take the cash, he is free and clear.

The tape should clear up the act of giving and taking. And if there was that act, the agents surely would have photographed the money in the bag prior to the transactions. If the agents were doing it well, not only would there be a picture of the cash in the bag, the bag would have some identifying mark on it that any tape would pick up.

In addition, the agents' testimony would be available as well.

The tape, any testimony by the agents, and any photos of the bag prior to the transaction should tell the tale.

If the transaction took place as reported, the transfer of the bag and cash is all thats needed for a charge. Not the completed act of bribery, but for the conspiracy and attempt.

Im not assuming the transaction happened -- the tape should tell the tale.

@ourTTTurn

Rather tired of every idiot re-translating a reciting of a particular factual point, or particular legal stance as 'Trump (or whomever) is guilty'.

As for the 'J6 insurrection' ---- I would love for you to denote where I have ever called the riot on J6 'insurrection'. But you may have just really buttressed my point just above.
