I’m now seeing leftist raising the gun control argument. First off, it’s a college campus and I am pretty sure guns are banned.

Second, unless we are talking confiscation, it hasn’t been established that the shooter did not legally possess the firearm or that any further restrictions on the 2A would have prevented this.

I’d say if the right are being equal violent to the left, they are doing a terrible job at it. Especially since people on the right would more likely own firearms and other weapons. Hollywood has done the TV shows and movies many times over depicting militia taking up arms in urban areas. These groups have the weapons to do things like this on at least a small scale, but it has never happened.

Meanwhile, we have had the Steve Scalise shooting back in 2017, Luigi shooting the United Healthcare CEO, all the recent mass shooters who left behind leftist manifestos, two assassination attempts on Trump, etc. on the left.
