If I had to do a geographic realignment, here’s my go at it. It’s bound to make a ton of franchises furious and would be DOA:

NE, NYJ, NYG, BUF, PHI, WAS
BAL, PIT, CLE, CIN, IND, TEN
CAR, ATL, JAX, TB, MIA, NO

DET, CHI, GB, MIN, STL*, KC
SEA, SF, LAR, LAC, SD*, LV
ARZ, SLC*, DEN, SA*, HOU, DAL

afc east-cle, nyj, buff, ne, balt, pitt
nfc east- warsh, nyg, dal, phil, miami, carolina
afc west- sea, sf, sd*, lar, zona, lv
afc south- lac, austin* den, kc, no, hou
nfc south- okc*, tenn, the nasti, jack, atl, tampa
nfc north- gb, minn, chi, det, the indy, st lou*

i put one expansion team per conference. kept most historical rivalries while keeping it mostly geographical no matter what eric says

i thought about toronto in place of austin but i doubt american football would play in canada. although they're the best market to do it. got ships. i think okc's primed for another franchise

Any realignment that splits up Baltimore, Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh is a nonstarter for me. NFL doesn't need to expand. The current alignment is perfect.

i kept baltimore and pittsburgh together and even put the nasti in the nfc south even though i really want to be in the nfc north (whom i kept intact). you gotta bite the bullet when it comes to realignment challenges. i enjoy the rivalries with pitt and balt but i constantly do not enjoy going up against better run organizations and your retarded sister. we've never been closer to a championship yet never so far away. fck mike brown

For for there's just too much interlocking history between Cleveland and Cincinnati & Baltimore. Without Paul Brown, the Browns and Bengals don't exist. Then theres the Art Model situation where he moved the Browns to Baltimore. Without considering the history of Pittsburgh and Cleveland since the 60s and moving the the AFC together, Pittsburgh is honestly the oddball in the division, but somehow the history between the Steelers and the trio has led to one of the fiercest & most competitive divisions in the league. Steelers and Ravens have been one of most prominent rivalries in football; Pittsburgh vs Cincinnati is always intense games of the year. Steelers vs the franchises of Paul Brown just have to be together. Too much history to split them up. Now, if we wanted to add a 5th team to this mix, Indy or Tennessee make a ton of sense

i digress. i think a lot of teams would be upset if they lost their conference chums. i have some affinity with cleveland being married into a family of zealous browns fans. i always cheer brother n law up when i bring up the current browns qb jersey. i personally like the version where it reads couchsankoszielverdefield. the steelers bengals series has been a barroom fight. tore down the best seasons of carson palmer and andy dalton and the best we could counter with was vontaze burfict
