HUGE WIN for the Women's Tennis team defeating Baylor in Waco by a 4-3 count. Great step forward in the season with #23 Washington on deck tomorrow.

This is a really good team with a lot of potential.

Was just about to post this. Baylor had a 18 match winning streak vs Rice. I do think Baylor is a little down this year but still a big win.

Great win by Rice. Things are finally looking up for Rice athletics.

This win may be a psychological asset later this spring if the Owls make it to the NCAA playoffs. It seems like Waco (or Austin or College Station) is always a regional host that we have to go against, and Rice has had had a heck of hard time winning at those places.

Or maybe we can be a high enough seed to host at Rice?!

However since we bracketed the big Baylor win with 4-0 loss to TCU and a 4-1 loss to Washington yesterday… maybe we will still be traveling to play our regional matches…
