The most powerful difference between Trump I and Trump II is the Cabinet-level leaders and other appointees. On November 9, 2016, Trump was honestly surprised — maybe shocked — to have won, and he frankly didn’t know who to trust. Plus, the other side was able to manufacture the Russia/Collusion fraud, which didn’t destroy Trump as they hoped, but did hobble him and make it much more difficult to accomplish anything substantive.

Compare that to November 6, 2024 — Trump knew exactly what he wanted to do, knew exactly who to call for help, and knew exactly who *Not* to call. We see the results of that every day.

I doubt any of this would’ve happened if Trump had remained in office for the 2021-25 period.
