Nearly three-quarters of Democratic voters are feeling motivated to vote in the next election cycle, according to the latest CNN/SSRS poll.
The survey, conducted this past weekend, shows 72 percent of Democrats and Democratic-leaning voters are “extremely motivated” to vote ahead of the midterms, compared to 50 percent of Republicans and Republican-leaning voters.
Republican enthusiasm, meanwhile, has declined by 17 points from October, when 67 percent said they were extremely motivated to vote in the election.
In September, 68 percent of voters from both parties said they were excited about voting in the 2024 election.
The latest data could be good news for the Democratic Party, which saw nearly half as much enthusiasm in a poll taken in the October ahead of the 2022 midterm elections.

It's sad that people would vote for any dress store dummy if it has a D before their name. Even those that will not have to pay taxes on tips and overtime will still vote for the DSD's (dress store dummies) so that they can get screwed by the DSD after Trump is gone.
I've noticed one thing about die hard demonics is that they lack common sense, bigly.

RE: 72 percent of Democratic voters ‘extremely motivated’ ahead of midterms
Keep in mind this is the party that hasn’t held a free and clean primary since 2004.
2008: Obama— Chosen by DNC elites
2012: Obama— Worshiped by DNC elites
2016: Clinton— Selected by the DNC elites
2020: Biden— Selected by DNC elites
2024: Harris— Selected by DNC elites
By 2028 it will be 2 decades since the “Party of Democracy” actually held elections to choose a candidate.
The idea Democrats would be hungry for power is understandable. They’re not used to being kicked to the curb like the trash their movement is.
The Democratic Party is dying. It’s up to Conservatives to put it out of its misery this cycle.

Democrats disillusioned with the current state of the national party… which is why national polls are currently where they are… will turn out in droves to vote against Donald Trump.
"will turn out in droves to vote against Donald Trump"
Well what happened in 24, also I didn't know Trump was running in 26.

Even if that happened today, the anti-Trump people would simply coalesce into a new group that would basically be the same as the Democrats right now.
The 2-party system — D’s and R’s, with occasional blips like Ross Perot in the 1990s or the “Bull Moose” thing in 1912 — has been the most enduring feature of American politics for 160+ years. So many people have tried to shake things up, but it never lasts.
The D’s and the R’s could very well continue for another 160 years.
It just doesn't make any sense to have anything other than A or B in a one round most votes wins system

RE: 72 percent of Democratic voters ‘extremely motivated’ ahead of midterms
Yet another thread that, yet again, doesn't convey what OP thinks it conveys. Maybe all those "extremely motivated" ahead of midterms should have not been so damn lazy and actually got off couch back in November to vote. I'm glad they didn't, but this "extremely motivated" nonsense makes them look even more stupid for not being "extremely motivated" back in November.

I think 2008 was a fair fight.
For ’24, it’s really giving Harris too much credit to say she was picked by the DNC. She was picked by the Biden White House and nobody else. everyone else just fell in line.

Say what you will about McConnell (I’ve said a lot myself). The two biggest moments of his career were the Garland nomination in 2016, and the Coney-Barrett nomination in 2020. He stood tall on both.

RE: 72 percent of Democratic voters ‘extremely motivated’ ahead of midterms
The possibility the GOP loses seats in the house and the senate is real. One area I've noticed with Conservative news outlets no longer focusing on are economic concerns for working class people. It was talked about repeatedly during the last mid-terms all the way through 2024. Shortly after Trump came on board those news pieces have been dwindling. However, I don't believe those issues changed much between 2024 and today. Sure the 401ks and IRAs are up this year. But those arguments were being made when Biden was in office too.
I understand that Trump has not even been in office for a year. On top of that he has some time until the mid-terms. HOWEVER, he needs to start showing tangible improvements with the economics for middle class voters and those of lower means. Housing and rents are still up. Cars and trucks are still up. Food prices are still up. Inflation is much better...but the prices that rose earlier are still elevated. The morons at the DNC accidentally gave the GOP a great graphic showing where the cost jumps took place. Good news in the short term. But, people will want real solutions to the cost hikes. If those costs aren't outright brought back down - which would be extremely difficult without actually going into deflation - the GOP needs to figure out an effective way to get incomes up. You can only cut so many taxes.
Voters are fickle. Majority think in shorter terms. GOP only has so much time. The unfortunate reality is our choices suck, and we'll "happily" vote for the party who mucked things up in the first place if we see the other party voted in to solve the issue the previous party created can't deliver.

“Extremely motivated”!!!
Well, then, wow! If you dims are extremely motivated to get out there and vote, then by-gummitt you get your pretty little bone in the nose purple haired self on out there and VOTE!
Do it with aplomb. Do it with vigor. But most importantly, you cast that ballot with Extreme Motivation!!!
Me? Hunh.
I’ll likely show up around 6:30, before the polls close at 7 and cast my ballot. Which, actually cancels your extremely motivated ballot.
I can just hear the two of them tussling in the ballot box.
Loons gon loon. Whaddya gonna do?
