The rich and powerful have been wanting to wipe out 90-95% of humanity for years now. This is nothing new.

I know, but not everyone has self-preservation. Rich jerks like Bill Gates took the first two commandments of the Georgia Guidestones to heart. Many leftists would and have offed themselves in order to "save the planet".

Geoengineering folks can be dangerous. It all began for them during the Vietnam war, when they began cloud seeding, trying to cause even more rain than normal to disrupt the Ho Chi Minh trail.

There are even those who claim that some of that may have been done regarding the rain that flooded Texas recently. I'm not on board with those claims but they have been floated (pun intended).

Humans can be so damn arrogant sometimes, thinking we can do stuff to the natural world that we don't fully understand. Then we act surprised at the unintended consequences.
