Future of the parties and this country regarding th Census
Now is a very important time to push again to eliminate the process of counting illegals in the census. We need to formally place safeguards against this as well as place qualifying questions in the census. We also need to make sure the census only goes out to citizens. These sanctuary states, which have aided in the chaos on the border during the Biden years, do not deserve a single extra representative or electoral vote.
We need to modify and codify how we administer the census. Not sure how we can do it to avoid a democrat administration in 2030 administering it how the please. Maybe we need to have a law creating a standard passed by congress. We have to do this now and early so there is more than enough time for the moronic injunctions and lawsuits to run their course to the Supreme Court and the issue is resolved by 2030.
If this census is done how it should be, with only citizens........ the solid red states are poised to pick up anywhere from 12 to 15 representatives and electoral votes. Add that to the current republican plan with redistricting advantages at the state level to squeeze out another 5 reps in the next few cyles....... we are potentially looking at 20 more reps and 15 more electoral votes next decade.
This is a gamechanger. Combine that with the current state of the democratic party which has embraced marxists, communism, open borders, criminals, and antisemites......... WOW. Amazing times ahead......... we just can't screw it up. It's delivered on a platter.

So many of the voices from the right were screaming that the border invasion was all about increasing democrat voter rolls while all along it was done to increase their representation numbers by including ineligible voters in the next census. Some of us here pegged it.

All you have to do is amend the constitution, but you probably couldn't get an amendment that the sky is blue passed nowadays

It's intentionally difficult, rightfully so. There is a process though...

RE: Future of the parties and this country regarding th Census
Unfortunately, it will be very difficult to exclude illegal aliens from the Census because they have been counted since the Census inception in 1790 and it has been upheld by the US Supreme Court as recently as 2019.
Fortunately, illegal aliens are reluctant to be counted because they do not trust the government or have better things to do with their time. They tend not to return Census requests by mail and ignore Census workers knocking on their door.
IMO, Republicans should concentrate on not requiring anything special to count illegal aliens, but treat them like everyone else.

it's amusing that social security #s have existed for less than 100 years, but to claim "Census inception since 1790" is legitimate based on injuns alone...
but wtfe, man...

There are four objectives of the illegal alien invasion for the Dem's, IMO.
1. In the short run. use Census to pump up population in Blue areas to increase Electoral College votes, House seats, and federal appropriations based on the Census.
2. In the long run, replace the birth dearth of liberal women with anchor babies who in due time will likely vote Dem.
3. Provide businesses with illegal alien labor paid less than Americans and afforded no labor law protection both of which reduces cost.
4. Provide a steady pool of cheap labor to clean the houses, cut the grass, ect for wealthy liberals.

I should have used different words. At one time, there was no illegal immigration. However, non-citizens were counted in the Census since 1790.

which lends to my point...
again, as writ, it's article I, section II all day long...
then again, so is 14A if viewing from the world of tanq ... I can't go with strict textural interpretation ... it simply doesn't calculate in a fluid setting...
