Respect
Quote:RESPECT: 14-year-old Moises Sauseda from Bryan was attending a friend’s father’s funeral today in College Station when he saw a gentleman standing in the pouring rain.
Without hesitation, Moises stepped forward and held an umbrella, soaked himself, but determined to show respect.
His mom, Sabina Luico Sauseda, says Moises was deeply moved. The man being honored had served 12 years in the military, and Moises, whose own father passed away four years ago, felt the weight of the moment. “You don’t see the tears in the picture,” she said, “but he was crying. This was very close to home.”
Well done, young man. You make us all proud.
And well done, mom.
