I know this forum hasn't been moderated much in the past few months but whoa! The use of C-sucker will get you an automatic permanent ban. STFU is counter productive to a message board and will get you the same. It has gotten way out of hand in here! We agreed sometime back that idiot and stupid and such were not going to get much of a moderation response. But this is way over the top and way out of bounds. Now the one who was just banned was warned and kept coming back with the insults. So "Time Out" it is.

But this notice is for the rest of you. Stop, or the hammer will fall!



You can disagree vehemently and chide each other with much less invective. Your usual mild insults will be ignored as they are tit for tat. But the vile remarks are going to come to an end. And that means now.

I'm posting this thread in bold because I mean it in bold!


Addendum: If you respond to another poster in a thread without referring to or discussing topics contained in the O.P. you will be dinged 25% for Flaming. No Exceptions. If you call an idea or statement idiotic, moronic, or any such slight with expletives in front of the insult and the insult is directed at the statement as long as the profanity is the usually accepted profanity for this forum you will be fine. If you call the poster him/herself the same with the profanity in front of it it will be a violation and receive a 25% flaming. These measures are designed to return the board to discussion about topics, with at least a bare modicum of civility towards those with opposing views.

If you are intelligent let your ideas and concepts or facts presented do the arguing. Ad hominem attacks are usually perpetrated by those who are without any other coherent argument. Both sides are, or should be, better than this. If you want to scream at an opponent we have a subforum of this forum for that. The Wild West Sub Forum. Take your need to scream, shake your fist at the sky, howl at the moon and throw rocks at airplanes there and unless you dox or threaten someone you'll be fine.

Reminder, just because the current world issues have exploded the last few days does not mean you can. I've handed out warnings today for personal attacks, and I will start putting 7 day bans in place if you cannot behave like an adult. Debate the circumstances all you want, but leave out the personal attacks on each other or don't post at all. This goes for EVERYONE.
