Yup. This was a staged ambush. Putin popped a bottle of some expensive champaign after that.

Trump and Vance accused Zelensky of not wanting peace by rejecting a ceasefire. I think Zelensky was trying to explain that they had a ceasefire before and Russia broke it. Why should they trust Russia if there are no consequences to them violating Ukrainian sovereignty?

All he was asking was "What if Russia breaks the ceasefire?"

And that's when Vance proved he is a white trash sob. Vance derailed everything and got Trump riled.
