In his 5pm press conference Ronnie Brewer picked Arkansas over Oklahoma, putting a smile on Razorback fans across the state. Brewer can play, if you havent seen him and you know that Fayetteville is coming to town, make sure and attend. Youll leave the gym with your jaw on the floor, and wont even remember how bad your team lost. This is what happened to me last year.
Great day for Hog Hoops! This is the best class since the Corliss days!

Stan Heath is a recruiting GENIUS!
Brewer wasn't even considering Arkansas when Nolan was coach. Now, he chooses Arkansas to round out this class.
Nolan: You can't get athletes to play in Fayetteville, Arkansas
Take a look at these stats...
Ronnie Brewer - #18 nationally by ESPN
Olu Famitimi - #6 nationally by ESPN
Nolan: You can't get anyone from out-of state
Olu Famitimi - Flint (MI) Northwestern
Julius Lamptey - New Hampton (NH) Prep
Stan Heath: We're gonna get the best players in the state of Arkansas.
Ronnie Brewer - Rated #1 in Arkansas
Vincent Hunter - Rated #2 in Arkansas
Stan Heath has proven Nolan to be flat out LAZY.
Way to go Coach Heath, we're all very very proud to be Razorbacks today!

I told Hog fans last year you got the real deal in the then unknown Stan Heath.
He's a recruiting wizard as he showed with Izzo at MichSt.
I'm happy for you all--love to see the Hogs head back to prominence.
If the returning players will buy into his system this will be a good year--next year, though, you should really start to roll.
GOOD LUCK!

Thanks for the kind words. You're welcome on our board anytime
Coach Heath's got a lot of work ahead of him. Nolan left the cupboard pretty bare, but you can tell some changes early on. In our last exhibition vs. the Midwest All-Stars (a 71-47 UA win), the HOGS collected 59 rebounds, 24 of them offensively. That's unheard of for any Arkansas team, especially one who's tallest player is 6-9, but it happened. That, plus Heath's incredible recruiting class, has expectations for the Razorbacks to re-assume their position as a national power growing day-by-day.
Hope Coach Christian keeps the Flashes well on top in the MAC.

We'll be all right this year. Lost 3 key seniors but have some returing players who will step it up some. Hard to duplicate last year's run, though.
I'll especially be rooting for you guys to take down 'Bama at least once this year!
Dang, did I enjoy our "taking us to the woodshed and giving us a whuppin'!" as their coach said after the game last year in the NCAA 2nd round. Stan had our boys grinding on all cylinders in that one. A thing of beauty, it was. You'll like the way his teams wear opponents OUT! Take their hearts away! Crush their spirit!
Go Hogs--enjoy!
