UAB appears at 10:40 if you don't want to see it in entirety

he called Protective soulless and basic... kind of how I would describe it. It's never felt like home to me.

I like Protective. It is a tremendous upgrade over Legion Field.

While true Protective is new & upgrade over LF in some ways, just never seem to have good fan exp there due to all the rules/regs BJCC folks have in play for tailgating. Not a fun atmosphere for fans to me, too sterile.

I don't dislike Protective, but it doesn't feel like home. Winning and getting more fans in would help that tremendously though. Just sucks our start there coincided with our downfall.

In our current state, it is a cemetery...cold and empty. We start winning and filling it again and it will become home

Wed never fill it, but getting most of the lower bowl full would be nice

I love it. The reason it feels soulless is the crowds are so bad because we suck. Tailgating is great. I would not trace the deck for the mud, fire ants, crooked lines, and tailgate lots that moved every week, and rude LF workers. LF needs a wrecking ball. Our downfall started with Clark having enough of the Admin's BS and retiring. Had nothing to do with Protective. I love my chair backs and short walk to the restrooms. Everyone I have brought loves the stadium. Winning and good crowds cures a lot of things. As ****** at Protectives concession food is, it's still better than dark green hot dogs, watered down drinks, and soggy nachos from LF.

Concessions vs. concessions, sure, but the vendors that were allowed into Legion Field brought it. I got an Italian sausage from one of them every game because it was so good.

With the BJCC owning the stadium it's like if the Legacy Arena has more seating and no roof

I was gonna say, I actually like Protective (other than the concession prices)… we just need to win and bring a crowd.

I think with enough time and winning, we could pack it out sooner than people think. That’d require some big OOC wins though.

Define packed cause do we even have 30k fans yet alone ~45k? We would have to go on a boise type run for a couple of seasons to get that many people to come

It’s generic with no character. Fill the seats consistently and then we can season the bland atmosphere a little bit.

The right music can change the atmosphere.

This. The family selling barbecue, smoked on the spot. The fresh-squeezed lemonade from the giant lemon. A pineapple, hollowed out and filled with alcohol: three of those, and even McGeeBall was tolerable.

Now we have bland corporate sameness enforcing their right to remain closed.

Fumbles, please quit. Please.

I mean, we got 35k+ for the opening game against Liberty, didn’t we? That shows there’s at least interest, and that it’s possible to fill it to near capacity.

Protective is fun for Stallions games. Not so much for the Blazers games IMHO.

Winning three straight championships would help 04-rock

It was more fun before our first championship!
