somebody needs to come up w/ an inbound play from the baseline as the only one we seem to run, we have a hard time getting it in

TT being a consistent 3 point threat is absolutely huge for this team.

Good dub. covered the spread. Made a big comeback, lost a lead, made another big run at the end and held on.

I'm seeing some growth from this squad.

Where is THIS Yax 90% of the time?

If he played all the time with 75% of the effort and spunk I saw tonight, we would be a different team. It's a shame. He just doesn't seem to be wired to give that effort more consistently.

Tulane’s basketball team was 2 points shy of their football team’s total in Birmingham this season.

Avoid WTF losses, have a shot at the end vs the better teams. All I can ask.

I agree. It’s a shame he had three potential assists in the second half dim out. Had we been up by a couple more possessions at the under 4 timeout I would’ve tried to get him the assists. But a great team win overall.

AK mentioned it after the game, but #2 Greg Glenn picked up 3 fouls in the first half, and started the second half, and yet we didn’t go after him like we should have. UAB didn’t go after Smilke of Tulsa after his 3rd foul. To me that is a weakness.

3 of UNT’s starters had 2 fouls at halftime. I think we shot 5, maybe 6 fts against them in the second half?

It’s poor game and situational awareness. I put more of that on AK and the coaching staff. They HAVE to impress on the players the foul situation of the opposing team, and to make it a priority to get them even more into foul trouble.

We were jawing with Ron Hunter and he said “it doesn’t matter, they don’t listen to me”. Later I told him neither team listens to their coach which is true. AK tells them what to do until his vein is popping out on the side of his bald head from frustration. I’ll leave it at that.
