His shots were not falling until today. 25.9% from 3. (before today)

Yeah, that fast break blunder was ridiculous when he had a trailing man
Even if his shots aren’t falling, I prefer him on Defense than what we keep out there. He’s a stout body to have to try to run thru for any guard
I was really tough on him until about maybe the Wichita state game last year. Maybe not that game. Whenever he had a big solo run offensively.
I give everybody sh**, tho.

RE: Tulsa Golden Hurricane
After watching the first half against Arkansas State, North, Texas, and now Tulsa, I agree that this team has the talent to win the conference tourney and an outside chance to win, or at least finish top 4, in the AAC.
Do they have it between the ears? Do they have the heart? The answer to those questions so far has been a resounding NO.
We’ll see.

The old guys are gonna have to lock in. That was our core we were banking on. On them to flip the switch.

I think we can be 3rd or 4th in the regular season. Not as confident we can win the tournament.

Yep. As always depends on matchups and who gets lucky. I don’t think there is a team that is clearly better than us outside of Memphis though.

Right. But right now we have not proven to be any better than 5th or 6th. So I agree with kenpom having us 6th.

I forgot they lost their starting big, Garcia. That partially explains why they are so bad.
6-8,240 9.4&6 last year.

I don’t disagree with that either. This team still hasn’t shown that it can play a full game, let alone string several games together. However, in a vacuum, the only team that is clearly head and shoulders better than us is Memphis. And even they aren’t unbeatable.

And he's one of the three guards who actually take care of the ball.

Win 15 games in a row. Get back into NIT discussion. So, yeah it matters

Maybe let's start with a streak longer than 2 wins in a row before we worry about NIT at-larges.
