I was just looking at some UAB football stats, which is quite depressing to say the least.

- 2024 Season -

Scoring Offense: 24.8 points/game (78th)
Scoring Defense: 37.1 points/game (125th)
Average Scoring Margin: -12.3 (117th)


- 2023 Season -

Scoring Offense: 29.5 points/game (46th)
Scoring Defense: 39.7 points/game (133rd). Dead last!
Average Scoring Margin: -10.3 (108th)

Our defense has sucked, but the offensive scoring dropped off enough this season to result in a worse difference in scoring margin.

It’s going to take a miracle!

Coaching can win a few games. It can lose a lot of them.

I am not defending the coach but when the game was impossible to win , he was still trying to go ON four down and most of the time UAB didnt make it and the other team had ball inside the 35 yard line of UAB (often less them 35 yards ) (ESPECIALLY against Tulane ) and we were not able to play defense against any team with some kind of option play
It will inflate the number a lot for the defense and the number are deflate on offense because ,,,Zeno was horrible on offense and kitna take 3 games until he got some game speed


a lost is lost and a win is a win ,the stat are only good during the game to play the odd game for the next play on offense or defense .......at the end of the game only one number or statistic count ,,,,,the damm score

we wiii see next year losing players to sacramento st make UAB look very weak
Dilfer was the least experience coach at it show
UAB WAS suppose to finish last in the AAC and we didnt , ,Memphis or Tulane was suppose to win everything and they DIDNT

if the defense improve , we will be a decent team instead of a terrible team
