Coupled with the others, yes. I take no issue with playing a couple of tune up games. I don’t like how many we have.

One Exhibition/charity game, 1 Swac game. Nothing else from the low majors. Everything else should be Quad 1 and quad 2 focused. Buying wins at home leads to empty arenas and unreasonable concession prices. Play somebody, beat somebody. Anytime, anywhere. The negotiation don’t always have to be home and home. It can be a one off. 2 for 1, 2-1-1.

I swear this falls on deaf ears in Bartow offices. Tired of the excuses.

I know it’s easy. I’ve seen others do it in our conference, others do in our own city. Mike Davis was the only one to ever make the effort. He just recruited players out of reach while letting those that we could get, slip away. So, we had talent deficiencies.
