A day late, but the very reason I still don't have warm fuzzies about our guys... They drop their game against (then) 1-10 ETAM 67-68. It came down to the wire, but we never should have been in that situation to begin with. Now, ETAM has had a tough schedule, I will give them that. Still, it goes right into what I have been seeing though. When we are faced with anyone tough at our level, we struggle to stay consistent.

ACU came out strong against 2-9 Texas Southern and jumped way ahead before going cold and letting them get back in the game. We were lucky to be back up by 7 at the half. We struggled the entire 2nd half, getting up by like 8, then letting them take the lead by 2, then back up by 5 and letting them take the lead again; back and forth. The refs weren't calling fouls against them near enough, but we couldn't hit our shots and kept turning the ball over. Finally, a few things went our way and we were able to finish the game. We win 69-65, but the game never felt good except for the first 6-7 minutes of the first half.
