This should have been done while Clark was here. We will see if it pays off. The staff changes were all Dilfer’s idea and approved. We still are deficient in marketing funds. Lots of plans to improve NIL including combining the collectives and coming up with events to raise NIL funding. We will see what happens.

Thus far I like the hires. The recruiting has been lack luster at best. So far we have not improved.

I still can’t see this team winning more than three games next season but I’ll reserve final judgment until fall.

We need corp help on the NILs...that is what is lacking massively...put logos on jersey's...i don't care...just get that corp money for NILs ASAP

Huge +1

Yep. Memphis gets way more from FedEx alone every year than we probably have ever had in our NIL.

bammer is demanding large new donations for their NIL. This is understandable, as only seven of their players are receiving seven-figure annual NIL payouts. The poverty they are expected to endure is . . . well, unendurable. Larry Ellison just shelled out 12 million/4 years for Michigan to sign a quarterback (previously LSU-bound for a paltry 6 million/4 years). bammer faces a mine-shaft gap and must keep up!

A large corporate NIL donation to support UAB athletics will be viewed as a declaration of war in the offices of Greene Group LLC. You're not just asking corporations for money; you're asking them to defy the UAS Trustees, a fading yet still potent political power bloc.

I'm growing less interested by the hour in watching the oligarchs play with their toys.

Agreed on the coaching changes. I'm just afraid the upgraded coaching staff will be forced to coach FCS level talent with all the people we've lost and subpar recruiting. What would have been nice to see is next year's staff with Dilfer's 1st & 2nd year players.
