It’s 30%. Since it’s out I’ll confirm. It goes back to what I was saying. The AD should just be honest about it. We might not like it but I am more likely to buy a drink knowing a % goes back to UAB and it’s not price gouging by the BJCC.

Just be honest with your stakeholders.

It’s horrible marketing and no way to bring in new fans. Since nobody will be at the games next year anyways, charge $100 a beer and $50 for some frozen chicken tenders.

What’s really annoying is the food you get at a real stadium is at least halfway decent. I don’t think I would ever order any food at protective again based on the price, wait time, and quality being absolutely abysmal.

I was guessing it's a supply vs demand issue. If the Dilfdo has ran everyone off, the concession folks probably need to charge double to hit their profits.

Frankly, a $10 beer isn't bad to me if I was able to get my ticket for $10 or less.

I did not see $10 beer the last time I was there. I wouldn’t have complained about that. Legion was around 7-8 a beer if I remember correctly.

If higher beer prices deter people from excessive drinking, that is a good thing.

High prices don’t stop the small percentage of folks that want to over drink. That’s their plan, and nothing, including price, will stop them. Your stopping the other 95% of peole that like to have a beer at the game but decide not to because they aren’t spending $17 on a beer.
