Exactly another issue I have with Dilfer. CP QB that is only playing in the AAC because his NFL daddy is friends with Dilfer. It's nepotism and just more bad press. He's also not worth the bad press.
I don't get this take at all. The kid was a 4 star recruit coming out of high school before signing with an SEC school and has a cannon for an arm. Sure, he was a little loose with the football but he was taking his first meaningful snaps in game 5 after a 2 year layoff. I saw improvement in his play and with better coach game management, he would've gone 4-1 in the last 5. I think he was our best QB other than Zeno.

Agreed. I have seen Campbell, Liddy and Barker play over the last 2 years and Kitna was clearly better than them. Controversy aside, he would have had his pick of places to play. I can understand not wanting him to be here based on the off the field, but the hate for his play seems to come from people just wanting to be critical.

The hate largely comes from his 2-3 turnovers a game... some of which cost us winnable games this year. He showed some talent, sure, but he was incredibly turnover prone and loose with the ball.
His past charges and connection to Dilfer through his dad only make him more unlikable, but aren't the reason that people criticized his play.

2020 HS class got an extra covid year. Him along Dempsey, Bedosky, and Flournoy got extra yr. Flournoy an extra extra year added from his injury.
Barker has an extra year also, it's the 2019 guys who's the true seniors/grad guys. Also some 2019 HS grads like Zeno are looking for 7th years through injuries.
Bill Clark 2020-2021 classes are officially finished. Right now 6 guys left from IHCBV 2022 class.
