The Miners play Northern New Mexico College, an NAIA school from Española on December 28. Española is a little north of Santa Fe if anyone is curious.

It’s a school and program I follow pretty closely. Since they also play NMSU I shared some info I thought people might enjoy about who they are and why I like them. It’s in the NMSU page/section. But some of it is probably of interest to UTEP fans, so here’s the link. So rather than wonder “who the hell is this school,” here’s some info.

They have 2 EP guys. One from J.M. Hanks and one from Cathedral. Their coach is interesting too, and has some border region connections.

Anyway, thought some Miner fans might find it informative.
