As for your questions, did America "deserve" 9/11? No. Did America's actions and interference in the middle east for decades prior help to cause 9/11? Absolutely, and I really don't care if you get mad about me saying it. Am I a socialist? No, I'm a social democrat.
I just don’t remember you being this extreme.
You like big government and wealth redistribution. Would you like wealth redistributed by ethnicity… or by the same come of the recipient? At what income level would you like to see taxes raised?
I support a robust social safety net and regulated free market economy. As far as who I'd support raising taxes on, since I'm not a politician I'll just answer honestly and say everyone. I'd want an extremely simplified tax system removing all of the loopholes that currently exist, higher rates on the top earners, higher corporate tax rates with a minimum floor rate of what a company has to pay every year, higher capital gains tax rate, and I'd also consider the idea of having a VAT. So I'd be proposing probably everyone pays more but obviously the increase on the top vs what we have now would be the biggest increase.
I am pro VAT. I think one of my biggest fears regarding a robust social safety net is when it is not applied by income, but by race etc. The Democrats always seem to make the social net very buck biased towards people of color. I have no problem with big corporations like Amazon, META and spectrum being taxed higher and broken down into smaller companies. However I think the middle class has been screwed over for years and so I don’t support higher taxes on much of the middle class.
We have had a robust social safety net for decades now. It has broken our country because it is taken advantage of. Make it bigger get more fraud.
Exactly.
Get rid of every single social safety net.
It's just an excuse for lazy bums to not work.

"Just wish we could split the country in 2. The libs could do it peacefully, have their socialist country that fails immediately, we could all sit back and laugh at them while offering no aid and everyone would be happy getting what they want. So sick of the democrats in America". Memphis Tiger 1998
...and watch China come to their aid and then we'd have more troubles with China in our backyard. No thanks, we can deal with them somehow.

Radical Islam nefariously seized the opportunity to use past U.S. policy they (the evil Muslims) perceived as harmful to the Middle East and their culture to justify the 9/11 terrorist attack.
The attack was heinous and evil and should be strongly condemned. And it highlighted the brutal behavior a segment of Islamists (i.e., the radicals who support suicide for a "greater good") are more than willing to deploy.
But the attack, though not deserved, was not a surprise. And it won't be the last grand-scale attempt from radical Islam.

No it won’t be nor has it been. They won’t have to import them from Saudi Arabia though next time. They are already here. The question is will we have to bomb Minnesota like it was Afghanistan.
