Tucker interviews Glenn Greenwald
Informative interview. Informed and intelligence guest and host. A rarity for American media. Of course, the guest lives in Brazil so he can’t be extradited lol.

“one of the very first steps [the EU] took legislatively was to ban the platforming, to criminalize the platforming of Russian media, like RT and Sputnik. They made it a crime, and YouTube immediately pulled it off because they didn't want their citizens hearing any information from the Russian perspective.”
“I mean, you can hate Russia, you can think Russia's evil, you can think whatever you want about Russia, but why wouldn't you want to hear from the other side?” Greenwald stated.
Of course, readers here are lucky enough to have me:). Even though I don’t care for RT or Sputnik and don’t view them regularly, since 90% of what they print are merely quoting Western media. That way when people are arguing about the “propaganda,” I just smile knowing that 99% of it Western sourced lol.

Your comments do, indeed, come off like an English translation of Putin’s press releases.
But I’m happy to join you in denouncing the EU’s censorship policies.

I’m glad you read things the Russian government releases. You know much more than someone only looking at one side of things.
But this video, is, of course, two Americans talking.
The EU censorship policies vis-à-vis Russia are practically identical however to ours, so it sounds like you may also take issue with OUR policies.
The government starts with easy censorship targets, like foreign countries, then they work their way down to everyday people here.
Then people start to wonder why the people they follow here are deplatformed, why people with their views are shut out. That’s all before they come for individuals. They are just doing the prep work now, using private companies to pretend those in power aren’t the ones behind it.

yes Quote:so it sounds like you may also take issue with OUR policies.
yes again. But Greenwald was referring to EU.
Greenwald is a serious man. I’m always willing to hear what he has to say.
