They lay out plans to spike RFK's health agenda:

-- Senate confirmation. They note that as RFK meets with Senators, they will ask discretely that he trades major MAHA policy items away in order to get to 50 votes.

-- Joe Rogan and independent podcasts. They call for shifting advertising budgets of major snack producers and processed foods. Don't just fund legacy media / Beltway press -- start advertising on the platforms of podcasters that support the MAHA agenda to influence coverage of these issues.

-- Appropriations. They note that congressional voices can block RFK from implementing any of his policy goals by freezing funding for the FDA or HHS. Similar strategies were used previously to force regulators to count frozen pizza as a vegetable.

Notice the second point is exactly what BigPharma did to network and cable news companies when they were allowed to advertise their drugs. It’s a controlling mechanism and not necessarily selling the drugs as to why they pay big bucks to buy ad time

That is a stunningly ignorant and blatantly false claim from you. NO ONE is advocating taking away our choices, that is NOT what is being discussed and suggested here.

Its a well known fact that our food has a lot of very unhealthy and unnecessary additives in it that are banned across most of the 1st world. And its also a FACT that we are the most obese and unhealthy nation on the globe, and that includes our children.

They flat out allow massive amounts harmful additives in our food that are banned around most of the world and its allowed because they are conglomerates with massive power and lobbies.

This is about choice. Right now you have two choices, grow all your own food, or eat food that is chock full of preservatives and chemical additives that are not optimal for human consumption.

You talk about labeling but ignore the great expense and pain the food industry has gone to obfuscate that labeling. For example, you buy a chicken breast and the label will say it’s chicken. It won’t tell you all the hormones fed to that chicken and the potential health risks those hormones pose to humans if consumed in certain quantities over a long period of time.
