They went on to say that they had a plan to "strategically purchase clothing," see, I told you there was a strategy, “before he takes office and make sure I have everything I need for the next four years.” The "strategy" continued with:

pledging to refrain from eating out "unless it is an emergency that cannot be avoided." Further, there will be no going to the movies, sporting events, "or any local attractions.

"New furniture or household goods will wait until 2028. I’m going to install a few other search bars and avoid Google as much as possible. I will not buy a new car before 2028. I will do everything in my power to hold on to as many dollars as possible."

It was then time for the brilliant economic minds of the left to chime in. One stated:

“Over the next four years, I highly suggest folks tighten their belts and spend as little as possible, except for the essentials like food, utilities, rent, etc. After riding the coattails of President Biden’s AMAZING economy for his first six months in office, trump is going to destroy it with his dumb policies. Not buying extra s**t will help sink his economy too. It won’t be hard, since everything will be 300% more expensive. Save that money. PASS IT ON."

Other lefty bobbleheads agreed that Trump would be "tanking" another great economy, apparently having no clue about the 40-year high inflation during Joe Biden's time in office, causing soaring gas and food prices, which was the reason millions of Americans voted for Trump. They also must not have been aware of the fact that the economy was the number one issue for voters going into the election. But no matter, it's all about hating Trump.

So, just so I understand, for the next four years, we can assume that some of these leftists will now become budding survivalists? As if we weren't having enough fun watching them now. Wonder if they will buy that food that lasts 25 years?

lol---sounds like how most of the working middle class lives now. Not by choice---but because Bidenomics inflation has largely driven their fixed costs to the point they have little or no discretionary income to spend on "extra's". When more than 60% of households say they cant afford an unexpected $400 bill---I think we can safely assume there isnt a lot of discretionary spending going on among that group. Ask Dodge how sales of new pick-ups and Jeeps are faring. Take a look at credit card and car loan delinquencies. Yeah---the OP is suggesting a life style many are embracing----not for political reasons---but out of necessity.

Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t complain if all that actually happened, LOL. But the American Indians who already live on reservations might complain. Why should the Michael Moores and Rosie O’Donnells be given their own country, when the Cherokee, Choctaw, etc. have not been given theirs?

And as long as we’re in the land of make-believe, what land would that be? San Francisco? Vermont? And Canada isn’t exactly underpopulated. Why not “encourage” these people to move there, instead? I would even be willing to throw in Seattle and most of the Puget Sound region as a territorial bonus to Canada if it would help seal the deal!

Ironically, the law of supply and demand learns us that this action would LOWER prices at the onset of this kind of action as inventories rise and the seller need to lower prices to move inventory.
