Two things need to happen.
1. ACU doesn’t need to be worrying about the playoffs. They need to reinforce SFA’s self belief that they could not compete in the WAC/UAC. They know it, we all know it. So utterly humiliate them like Tarleton did when we unknowingly played our last game against those crybaby wannabes last year. They screwed a lot of scheduling up. There needs to be a reckoning! Feed them fish heads ACU.
2. Tarleton needs to coach and play better than the last 3 weeks. A solid victory just might get a home playoff game the next week. I expect a one score game, even though UCA has already thrown in the towel for the season. Whitten is not capable, but we need to step on their throats and stomp their face with the other hobnail boot.
The committee has no faith in us. We need a decisive victory to get in the 16. Forget the polls. 16 in the polls is not enough.

ACU, Tarleton and EKU all need decisive wins this week.

Really ACU?! Of all the games to lose, and all the teams and Conferences to lose to?
Jeez! Just go ahead and announce your move back to the Southland already. They love you guys over there, and they are so sure you’re “coming home” anyways.
Tarleton and ACU should move to FBS as a package deal. That would be awesome, and makes a lot of sense for a Conference. But it won’t happen.

Well, it might or might not happen. Who knows. Our stadium was designed to be expandable in seating. ACU could afford the move. We probably need to grow another 20 percent or so. But maybe another few years of competing in FCS is more likely. It would be fun to unseat those Dakota schools with I-20 Texas schools.
